Hi, I'm J.T. welcome to Shawnee Creek Horse Camp. If you like to camp, ride horses, and enjoy a family atmosphere well Congratulations! You have came to the right place!

My name is Trouble, and we are located right on Big Shawnee Creek in Shannon County Missouri, 1 mile from the Beautiful Jacks Fork River. Close enough to Eminence to enjoy their Golf Course, History, Antique and Craft Shops. We are also close enough to enjoy the Famous Alley Spring Mill, Rocky Falls, and Jacks Fork and Current Rivers!
My owners like to ride and visit and have fun and me and ole JT like to tag along also.

Milder temperatures and a bumper crop of acorns here on Big Shawnee bring the realization that fall will be coming soon. Along with milder temperatures, beautiful leaves and harvest come Gigging Season, Deer Season and Turkey Season. Shannon County Holidays. We all share a heritage of fellowship with family, friends and new friends gathering together during these times. In honor of these times with loved ones past and present. I am offering special rates.

SPECIAL RATES FOR DEER SEASON, TURKEY SEASON AND GIGGING SEASON,

$15.00 EACH NIGHT FOR CAMPSITES WITH WATER AND ELECTRICITY. HORSE STALLS WILL BE $35.00 FLAT RATE UP TO SEVEN DAYS.

Facilites for self contained campers only.

We are all about family and friends, relaxed atmosphere, covered, shaded, individual stalls. There are 100+ miles of established trails assessable from camp. Fees are twenty five dollars ($25.00) each night for campsites with electric and water, plus five dollars ($5.00) for each stall.
Socialized pets are welcome and are the owners responsibility. We have dogs on our site.

Must check in and make payment on arrival . Must have current Coggins testing and required Health verifications for out-of-state horses.

Camp Guidelines

Reservations recommended for pull in sites on the creek and for extended stays, seasonal reservations also are welcome.
Campers are responsible for their horses' bedding and care.
We have back-in sites for self contained campers or trailers, with 30 or 50 amp. electric and water, manure bunkers, horse stalls and a family atmosphere designed for experienced riders.
We have covered stalls within sight of pull thru or back in shaded campsites, (click here for pictures of our campsites).
We are located in the most beautiful country in Missouri to go on trial rides. With many marked trails nearby you can enjoy hours of riding and sight seeing, taking in all the beauty of what we call "God's Country".
